Located at 620 G Street and is a plant-based diner’s best friend. Two cases full of vegan simulated meat and dairy products, two-three cases of frozen foods, a large quantity of milks and yogurts, sour creams and cream cheeses. Deli has options– easy for take out!

 

  • Baked goods, pies and muffins all at the front of the store near the hot food.
  • Great bulk section for grains, dried beans, nootch, seeds, and nuts.
  • If there is something you are looking for and cannot find it – ask!

Has two locations in Davis and is an excellent, well-stocked market for most everything you could want on a whole-food-plant-based diet. It has a good selection of vegan dairy products, frozen and refrigerated simulated meats, and also carries Sugar Plum and Pushkin’s vegan baked goods and a selection of ice cream. They may be able to do special-ordered decorated cakes for advance order. They have a full bulk section for grains, nuts, and dried beans. There are usually several items in the deli case. The store carries many specialty ingredients, particularly handy for those who like to cook or entertain. 1414 East Covell Blvd., 409 Mace Blvd.

Kims Mart Asian Food

Asian market, and includes Korean, Chinese, Japanese, and Thai food items. Highly recommended to explore there. Inexpensive mushrooms and fresh Asian greens!! Frozen foods (dumplings). Fresh foods (sushi, wakame salad). Bottled huge selection of sauces. Canned seitan. Lots of things to flavor tofu and your meal with. Noodles galore. Dried beans. Grocery Outlet

This discount store has a specific frozen plant-based section that has wildly reduced prices and sometimes items we’ve never seen before. Also look on the wall to the far left as you walk in.  Funky protein powders, chips and stuff frequently vegan. 1800 E 8th St Suite B

International Food Market

Mostly focused on Indian, Persian, and Middle Eastern foods. Fun selection of inexpensive spices, sauces, and dried beans and grains, plus sweets. Tehini, eggplant dips, pickles, etc. A few fresh items. 1760 E 8th St.
